Last night, I went to the glade, and the Morrigan was pleased and proud of me. We retired to the haven, and I had some fruit and tea (more rosemary & thyme & other herbs, this time).
I’ve had a harder time lately and suspect I’m going through a dry period, with distractions and negative inertia—I need more energy work without an expectation of specific energy “levels.”
I think She’s less immediately insistent or omnipresent-less immediate, I suppose, but still present, still nearby—she haunts me & I like that. Also, I’m paying attention and looking, eager to see Her—She doesn’t need extreme or harsh measures.
Feri is a weird little religion, aesthetic in its principles but intimate and mystical, inclusionary—art is magic and vice-versa—and its focus on reclamation of self (self-sovereignty) helps explain its gateway nature. Even Thorn moved on to GD/QBL sorts of stuff (pointing to Regardie in particular).
Feri also has a very social universe—Mind you, most trads speak little of any definite threats or hindrances other than general spirit pests and personal demons and projections. (Mind you, these are most common problems newbs have to learn to deal with.)
Niino’s rhetoric about Feri suggests an arcane Wildean view of self, art, & magic—once self-possessed, we can live our lives as art of our creation, as magic of our creation. (All arts & trads are or should do this, but Feri is honest and aesthetic in its emphases.)
Feri argues all art as ritual is magic, though the notion of “ritual” seems loose. Art done specifically sacredly or something like that, is a kind of magic that “produc[es]” elthil that “become magical acts.” Ritual appears to be performative but more than “theater.” “Ritual is seeing and literally [sic?] experiencing the dream of the Gods…The ritual magical art brings it to our consciousness with full impact. This is so primarily because we are involved, we choose it.” Ritual requires trance, and trance emerges through repetition when the conscious mind shuts off and the Presence (sticky->mental->higher) connects: i.e., some kind of gnosis. Body is seen as the starting point to ritual & magic, not the mind. Niino includes weaving as an example, but also baking. The body moves the mind to act. There’s a sense of the body in a performative space, and drama requires bodies doing things. There’s discussion of homemade icons as vessels for divine presences (cf. Ravenna’s note that an icon of the Morrigan can help anchor Her Presence, normally, to that icon—so She will be less likely to just LOOM wherever.)
I asked K to get me a sooner dental appointment than I’d managed, and the results were nigh instantaneous. I even had a sense, like a memory a success, a voicemail, like I was remembering it—and there was a voice mail as I checked.

What does it mean to internalize WtaW. GD practice is to build up the Tree of Life and Hebrew in one’s SoS—microcosm to macrocosm—and CM actually avoids that in favor of paradigm shifting and sleight of mind. Crowley goes the route of yogic practice and Enochian (fucking Enochian). Devotionals internalize god anchors, or can. ____ and Paxson have a lot of Odin (and likely the soul marks to show it), but what about specific WtaW? Most folks get [pentagram] but in the context of banishing/purification, and otherwise assign specific meaning to the [pentagram]. Elemental, etc. Xians internalize the cross, but it’s very general. I’ve been going [Elethis] [WtaW] and some [WtaW]—and maybe now [Corunor]—these WtaW, these realities I’ve tied into my Presence, and they’re there if I tap them or they get tapped.
